Some people are just so sweet. Darlene Neals is one of those people. Darlene reached out to me by email after coming upon our website back when Dimples was an infant, years ago. Her email was so enthusiastic that I just had to save it:
“I just happened to learn about your site today… I’m TOTALLY amazed. This is exactly something I’m interested in. This warms my heart!”
At the time her son was planning on pursuing a career in policing and she was hoping to get him Dimples Fingerprint Cuff Links as a gift for his success along the way. Indeed, her son Justin was accepted into his program. On Justin’s 21st birthday, Darlene marked the occasion with a gift of Dimples Fingerprint Cuff Links.
Not long ago I received an email from Darlene letting me know that her son graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice Studies in 2016. Yay (from my Alma Mater nonetheless)! Justin wore his Dimples Cuff Links to his graduation. How honoured we are to know that these Dimples Cuff Links have been a part of Darlene and Justin’s, journey. A mother and son’s story. And to hear from Darlene 6 years later, “Wow!”
At Dimples, we say that “life is a collection of remarkable moments shared with the ones we love.” It is our mission to help people “save” their lives by capturing these special moments. We know that each Dimples item made is part of someone’s story, but it is so meaningful to have the opportunity to hear the whole of this Dimples story.
Darlene, thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy life to drop us a note and share your news with us. It’s heartwarming to know that Dimples has a special place in your heart.
Oh, and Darlene, back in 2011 you said, “If you could only do this with dog paws,” well now we do!
