Next, rub your entire fingertip on the shaded patch to coat the entire fingerprint with pencil lead. Then, take a small piece of clear tape, approximately 1.5-2.0 inches long, and apply it sticky side onto the finger where the pencil lead is. Gently peel off the tape to lift the fingerprint off of your finger.
Place the strip of tape, sticky side down, onto a clear spot on the same plain white paper. Gently rub it down so the tape is adhered flat on the surface of the paper. Now, use your phone to capture a clear and in-focus image of the fingerprint, and email it to info@dimplescharms.com.
