Kristen & Brian’s love story was born out of adventure and the outdoors.
Seven years ago, Kristen was visiting a cottage up north with a friend when Brian stopped by to take them on a tour of Killarney Park and go fishing. “We immediately had a connection, with the same love for adventure, nature and exploring the world,” recounts Kristen.
They continued their adventures together in British Columbia where they spent some years exploring the west coast, snowboarding and travelling. It was during a trip to Indonesia in October 2018, on a sunrise hike of Mount Batur Volcano when Brian asked the question that was on his heart for so long, would Kristen marry him.
“The ring we had designed incorporates diamonds from both of our mothers’ engagement rings. This ring holds so much sentiment, combining both of our families and parents’ love,” says Kristen of the significance and meaning behind their ring design. This unique, one-of-a-kind design Brian had in mind just for Kristen to capture their love, their style, and their story is one they entrusted to Dimples for Jeffrey to bring to life.
Brian runs a successful tourism business, Stillwater Fishing and Tours on Manitoulin Island, conducting hiking, kayaking, fishing, and boat tours and Kristen has a career in Sales. Together with their dogs Cedar and Quinn they spend our time between Northern Ontario, Southern Ontario and British Columbia. They are currently preparing for their wedding in Fernie British Columbia at the base of Fernie Alpine Resort, in a small intimate ceremony surrounded by friends and family.
